I don't know any specific roofing sites but you might find a 'roofing
square' from: www.screwfix.com rather useful. It comes with a free leaflet
that is actually quite a comprehensive guide to roofing including all the
different cuts used and a brief description of the various types of roof
design. It might be all you need.
