Default Rotavator Einhell GC-MT-3060 Drive to tines not always working.

Thanks for looking. Has anyone a Rotavator like mine? The drive to the
rotary tines sometimes stops when I hit a tough bit.

The clutch adjustment is correct and a firm obstacle used to stall the
engine, not slip as it does now.

I have not stripped it, but I think the clutch action is brought about by
pulling the gearbox away from the engine, which leads to a tightening of
the "V" belt connecting the engine drive to the gearbox.

The V belt might be knackered, but I don't want something else in bits
waiting for parts.

Does anyone have one of these and have you fitted a belt? The other thing
is, I would be tempted to buy one anyway but at eighteen quid plus other
charges, it seems expensive. Has anyone sourced an alternative?

Malc
