Solar PV panels
Degradation.
My PV panels are almost ten years old now. Yesterday was bright sun , blue sky and cold wind. At midday, they were delivering the full rated power. So they haven't deteriorated by much. |

My weatherstation reported 260.7 W/m^2 at midday. So they haven't deteriorated by much. I assume the glass is self-cleaning. Or do you have them washed occasionally (if they are reachable)? -- Jeff |

Solar PV panels
NOt really a very scientific test though. You may find that the control
system is designed to keep the output the same as a maximum, and hence they are still within spec, but might not be as good as they were. I doubt if you get much radiation damage at sea level though!
