How to unscrew power extension lead box ?
I want to unscrew the box containing 4 or 6 3-pin sockets
in order to put in a longer lead. (Actually it is a 6-socket box with surge protection, and they only seem to come with 2 metre leads.) The bolts or screws holding the box together seem to be of a special type that cannot be turned with a normal screwdriver. Is there any way of opening these boxes short of drilling out these screws? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail (80k only): tim /at/ birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland |
