Default Loft Insulation Suppliers

Is there a decent either insulation supplier, either national or local
to the south east that anyone can recommend?
I have the suspicion that a specialist firm may give better prices
than either my builders merchants or a DIY store.

Thanks

Wickes have had an on-going offer of three rolls for the price of 2. I
haven't found cheaper.
Selco are cheap on most products.
I found Wickes to be half the price of my local (rip-off) merchant.

With any merchant shop you will find that the list prices are indeed a
rip-off, but if you buy enough then they have the discretion to give you a
decent discount, you may also need to drive up in a battered white van as
well:-)

After making the effort to have a chat/gerenal moan with the guys at Plumb
Center and Travis Perkin I have generally received a decent price for the
gear that I've ben buying... there is also no harm in asking what sort of
discount you can get either.

With regard to the OP's request if you are after rigid boards/
Celotex/Kingsan then a few people have recommended
http://www.secondsandco.co.uk/
in the past, and I reckon this is where I'll look when I eventully consider
converting the loft.

cheers

When I last shopped arround, wickes were best.

I just brought a lorry of bricks from B&Q, cheeper than all my local
builders merchants - amazing.

For the buy em cheep, pile em high stuff the sheds are cheepest.
