chipboard loft flooring - can't get 1200mm long anywhere anymore !
Started boarding my loft a few months ago and did about half of it. Found
that 1200mm long boards were ideal because they covered a joist in the middle and the two ends were half way over another joist. This meant I could have all the joints on a joist -cool. Trouble is I can't find 1200mm anymore just 1220mm. This covers the middle joist and the end ones totally, so I can't screw the next one down as well. Apart from sawing 20mm off the end, any ideas ? |
