Thanks for the reminder.
Sound advice.

There are reasons why I have a load of tyres, newspaper, diesel and a
cig lighter at the ready.

The last thing you want is that lot out in their front gardens singing
if someone has a birthday.

I can see the reason for your disquiet, but I feel that necklacing is a
tad extreme...

How do you think harrys neighbours feel?

Until recently I had fifty acres of ground and a 16thC five bedroom house, every bedroom with bathroom, one bathroom with jaccuzzi. I had thirty mile views. The driveway was 1/2 mile long.
I had no neighbours within sound or sight. (unless you count houses five miles away)

What sort of a place do you live in?

I have now downsized a bit. But I still have the Roller.

And a massive insecurity complex...
Anyway, enough about what you once had, how close are those unfortunate
people?

I live in a hamlet of six houses.

Wow! I live in a road of 40 houses.

I get on fine with everybody, we have BBQ parties normally.

BBQs are not very English, are they?

I suppose they'll be all cancelled this year.

Hope so. Brits in general are not very good at them.

Everybody is about the same age, ie retired.

Makes the BBQs all the more, sad.

I still have a larger than average garden (around 2.5 acres)
With orchards, veggie plots.

Multiple orchards and veggie plots. Nope, I don't, nor is my garden
anywhere near 2.5 acres.

large patio, parking for ten cars (if careful)Garaging for two cars and two ponds.

Any chance of monetising that parking space to supplement your FIT?

There are outstanding views from the patio.

I can stand on my patio and admire the view. Also, I can look across at
the nature reserve from my lounge and bedroom windows. Do you live
adjacent to a SSSI?

Two nearby.
Plus an AONB

Tell us about yourself.

I am happy being me.

So a failed boring nobody then.

Only nearby? Mine is adjacent, FFS.
I have a National Park nearby.

Plus an AONB

How far? Nearest one to me is about 10 miles.

OK, so you're not happy being you. Very understandable and you have my
sympathy.
