Just OOI, how old are you and haven't you seen fireworks before?

Rather than setting fire to the money for you to watch burning,
wouldn't it be 'better' to do good / practical / lasting things in the
local community, even if it was a community / LA sponsored event?

I guess I've just never really got the whole 'passive spectator'
thing, preferring to be hands on or not at all (in most cases).
