"Copper is used in some anti-seize formulations to prevent galling in
high temperature applications where the organic portion of the grease
will be cooked out. It serves NO function at ordinary temperatures "

Be warned. It camn also galvanically corrode some metals. Anecdotally
most report issues with aluminium

Thick grease is all you need to keep a low temperature joint free to
unscrew.

You'd think it was a rare and expensive material.

It is ideal for things that can get hot. Exhaust fittings, wheels and
brake pads. So if you've bought it for that, just use for anything that
needs an anti-seize compound, but not a lubricant.
