Thick grease is all you need to keep a low temperature joint free to unscrew. You'd think it was a rare and expensive material. It is ideal for things that can get hot. Exhaust fittings, wheels and brake pads. So if you've bought it for that, just use for anything that needs an anti-seize compound, but not a lubricant. -- wife.
