Im fitting a new handle to a sledge hammer and when I asked for some
wedges in the hardware store they gave me these. https://images.app.goo.gl/Hd2SJPLjm5ZMEYXf9 Pack contains one hardwood wedge and two ridged metal tubes. Whats the right way of using these? Are the tubes an alternative to the wedge or do I use both? If the latter, presumably I have to saw a slot for the wedge across the middle of the shaft end? Where do I hammer in the tubes? Any gotchas? Tim -- Please don't feed the trolls |
