It looks to me like the chimneys are the wrong way round on this house
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater wouldn't they normally be front and back above the end wall, not inside and outside? Owain |

Owain Normally they would be 90 degrees different to how they are shown. But not always. In any case, chimneys in that position are very difficult for the aerial installer, especially when there are no proper ridge tiles. It usually means getting up to the horizontal ridge (apex) using a roof ladder, then taking a short ladder up and lowering it down to the chimney. Then there's the problem of putting the corner plates on the corners that you can't reach. Very often the leading behind the chimney is full of leaves etc and sometimes that causes a leak into the loft. Bill |
