Default Corbyn is A Moron

Having previously started threads

"an Apology to Jeremy Corbyn" I must apologise
to the group for changing my mind yet again.

A Jap would at least have the decency do disembowel itself.

Don’t make a mess of the carpet, do it outside.

This morning Corbyn is reported by various sources as claiming "a no-deal
Brexit would leave the UK at the 'mercy of the US'

And we have the video of him saying that.

Yep, he actually is that terminal a ****wit.

What he doesn't seem to realise that apart from the
chlorinated chicken issue ( which is in reality an animal
welfare issue about which the average KFC patron quite literally doesn't
give a **** ) most people seem fairly relaxed at the prospect of being at
the mercy of the US.

In fact the UK wouldn’t be at the mercy of the US with
a no deal brexit. It would be free to continue to trade
with the US under the wto rules, just like it does now.

Why we even hire our nukes off of them at considerable cost,
with no guarantee that they'll actually let us use them.

Rather unlikely that they will ever be used.

If instead he stressed the likely impact of Brexit (of any variety, as
things stand at present) on industry, and on jobs in the Midlands and the
North perhaps he'd be addressing an issue people might actually care
about.

Unlikely that they do care about that given
the historic low unemployment rate.

Basically the problem is Just In Time production based on minimum
inventory with constant replenishment 24/7.

"The frictionless trade enabled by the EU's customs union and single
market allow such pan-European JIT supply systems to operate smoothly,
and today these systems are almost ubiquitous in many areas of UK and EU
manufacturing, engineering, logistics and retail. They are especially
important in those regions of the UK with strong manufacturing bases such
as the Midlands and the North of England-more on that later.

A bit more friction is neither here nor there to that.

The problem being that as far as Brexit is concerned there has been no
"good news" over the past two years,

Bull****.

which Tory Politicians would be shouting from the rooftops. No news of any
serious efforts being made to mitigate the effects of Brexit by large
capital investment in new storage facilities and inventory - assuming
such inventory is available to purchase in any case, Which is doubtful
that being the whole point of JIT.

There has in fact been plenty of that with supermarket stock
and amazon etc.

So that basically whole sectors of industry are going to shut down on day
one with their whole production schedules having to be reworked over the
coming months.

Even sillier than you usually manage, and that’s saying something.

Assuming that is, that they have the capital to do so, and there are
buyers still there at the end of it.

Corse there will be.

Corbyn is supposed to represent just such people, the people most likely
to suffer under Brexit.

That’s bull**** too given how few are
employed in manufacturing anymore.

And there's plenty of independent evidence out there about what the likely
impact will be on jobs if these JIT problems aren't sorted out.

Bull**** there is.

And yet all he can think of is this anti-American prejudice of his which
(unfortunate though that might be) isn't necessarily shared by the people
he most needs to convince,
