Just browsing through Screwfix catalogue in preparation for some electrical work and came across these:

All round band is still the same price:-) I got some rather good clips the other day. Drill a 6mm home into masonry and just shove the clips in. Fit wires into clips. Would it not be permissible to use a galvanised iron staple such as https://www.screwfix.com/p/easyfix-galvanised-staples-galvanised-corrosion-resistant-4-x-40mm-1kg-pack/16688 to hold 1, and perhaps 1.5mm cable?
