Default Toilet intermittent constant flush

Hi all,

I have a toilet with a button push flush on the top. Every now and again, when you flush it, it continues to run water into the bowl after the main flush. This continues until you press the flush buttons a few times and it stops.

Any idea what the issue is and can it be repaired or will I need a while new flushing mechanism?

Thanks

Lee.

Depends on the flush valve type, could be as simple as a bit of grit in it.
