The thread was called "Harry's Game"

1. at 9.54am Aug 14th "The Natural Philospher" posted a link
concerning a couple being arrested for energy fraud

2, Harry at whom the thread was addressed replied

3 At 20.24 that same evening TNP posting as "Tjoepstil" just
happened to be passing and "not knowing what it was all about"
asked in all innocence "what on earth prompted that display
of spleen venting?

4. This innocent question from TNP posting as "Tjoepstil"
then brought a much fuller explanation from "Nathan Hale"

Which hardly explains why you disclaimed all knowledge of Harry,
or of the animosity existing between you in your contribution as
Tjoepstil does it ?

""what on earth prompted that display of spleen venting?

When as The Natural Philospher you'll have known very well what prompted
that display of spleen venting from Harry. Wouldn't you not ?

So why when posting as Tjoepstil would you pretend not to know this ?

Might I suggest you simply stop lying right now?

You're clearly not very good at it, as if that wasn't already obvious and you're
simply upsetting yourself.

I've .already suggested you killfile me which you threw in my face as with the
suggestion that you stop posting information about yourself.

You really are beyond help.

So in this world of trouble strife and Mr Trump and Baked Beans wars, is
this all that worries you? I mean if some people want to post general
rubbish nobody has forced you to read it have they?
It can be jumped over deleted or the people in it killfiled if you want.
Life is too short to worry. Some of these people you call sock puppets can
be, probably unconsciously, rather amusing. a bit like MR Angry, the
character Kenny Everett used to Parody on his show.

There are times when added weight is given to an argument where more
than voice is heard. Where in reality it is a single voice it is useful
to know.

In this case I have only recently become aware that The Natural
Philosopher, TabbyPurr and Tjoepstil are the one person.

There is no excuse, since the same account can be on all his machines.

One then wonders why the need to use a number of names/accounts apart
from nefarious reasons.

Didn't know that. Mr Purr seems usually able to spell OK. Perhaps Turnip

Correction: You are ill with diseases associated with old age.

I was on a walk today led by a man of 84. At one point, he ran ahead of
the rest of us, so he could take photos. We did eight miles straight

As a matter of interest how old were you again, at the time of the
Windscale Fire ?

It's none of my business of course; only you did say how old you were
at the time, during our previous discussion of your claim to have heard
news of the fire on the radio.

I'm not trying to catch you out, only compare your notion of "old age"

have actually stated how old they are.

Because if my memory serves me right, you're still a bit of a youngster.

because happier people are mentally prepared to make more effort.

Apart from the 84 year old leading the walk, there was another man about
the same age who was struggling a bit with the wind. Even so, he made
it. If he had given up, as a handful of the younger people did, his
ability to manage next time would be reduced.

You try leading a walk with a heart that will let you get 50 yards
before you need to wait for 5 minutes.

No, its because people who are able to walk have at least something left
to live for.

As I said. age has nothing to do with it. Some peoples bodies keep on
working for yeaes, others simply develop chronic and massively
disabling conditions.

I will be having 5th heart operation in a few weeks.

I hope it allows me to walk more than 50 yards

There are people who can't even walk that far, so try to hang on to what

There are chair-based exercise for people who can't walk. Funnily
enough, after yesterday's pretty atrocious weather, it's sunny here this
morning. So, getting outside, even if you can't totter further than the
gate can still be mood-enhancing.

Apart from the 84 year old leading the walk, there was another man
about the same age who was struggling a bit with the wind. Even so, he
made it. If he had given up, as a handful of the younger people did,
his ability to manage next time would be reduced.

As I said. age has nothing to do with it.

You actually said the opposite: "I am chronically ill with a disease
called 'old age'". You then went on to define what you meant by old age
in terms of pain.

Some peoples bodies keep on
working for yeaes, others simply develop chronic and massively
disabling conditions.

I will be having 5th heart operation in a few weeks.

Fingers crossed for you, TNP.

I hope it allows me to walk more than 50 yards

That's a good age. Product of two primes.

Which isotope?

I think we're talking about atomic number, not atomic weight.

You think?

I'm soon to be Tb. Also a product of two primes.

You try leading a walk with a heart that will let you get 50 yards
before you need to wait for 5 minutes.

There are people who can't even walk that far, so try to hang on to what
you have.

In my experience, the people who
at least make an effort to stay active are much happier, but that may
be because happier people are mentally prepared to make more effort.

No, its because people who are able to walk have at least something left
to live for.

There are chair-based exercise for people who can't walk.

there are indeed. A local chity organises a "Seated Dance" session every
week.

You can be in pain without being disabled.

Of course. And not through old age.

And so unlike everybody else.

As a matter of interest how old were you again, at the time of the
Windscale Fire ?

It's none of my business of course; only you did say how old you were
at the time, during our previous discussion of your claim to have heard
news of the fire on the radio.

I'm not trying to catch you out, only compare your notion of "old age"
as against that of other posters to the group possibly, who unlike me,
have actually stated how old they are.

Because if my memory serves me right, you're still a bit of a youngster.

in another newsgroup, we refer to our age by use of the Periodic Table.

I'm Iridium

Isn't that what Simon uses to make mobile phone calls ?.

Spend too much time on the tube in London and you will get
TB (and maybe the antibiotic-resistant variety).
