Hi,

I need to know how thick 1/2" tap washers are, I don't have one at hand and need to make one. I looked at British Standards web site and they want to charge me £46 quid for a PDF standard.

If you have a library subscription, you can view (naq vs farnxl
qbjaybnq) the BS documents, if you don't have a library subscription
Manchester aren't fussy ...

BS 5412:1996 shows replacement type 1, 2 and 3 flat washers as being
between 4.0 and 4.4mm thick

West Sussex libraries allow you to look at them online via thieir own
portal, and you can print up to 4 pages and only pay the library fee.

what happened to Ed Sirret after he put their gas regs pdf on a
public site ?
