Funny you should mention there
I'll let you know next week if that is not the case as we are going on
this on Saturday to see some places we can't normally get to.

We did Imberbus a few years ago and had a very good and
interesting time. One bus, a superbly preserved example of a
London Routemaster, RM 1005, carried a replica TfL notice on
the saloon bulkhead.

The sections on Transport information and Lost Property,
etc. were identical to a Tfl notice but the centre section
' What to do if you have a complaint about your journey
today' was slightly different.

I don't have the photo I took of it handy at the moment but,
from memory, it said:

'In the first instance, write to: Peter Hendy CBE (at an
address in Bath).

If you are dissatisfied with the response you receive from
Mr Hendy, write to: The Commissioner of Transport for the
Metropolis, Transport for London, Windsor House, 42?50
Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL

If your are dissatisified with the response you receive from
the Commissioner, there is nothing more you can do and you
have no sense of humour.'

For the benefit of those not in the know, the secret was
that, at the time, the owner of the bus, Sir Peter Hendy
CBE, WAS the Commissioner of Transport for the Metropolis!
