I am pondering a facility where any subscribed person can send a message
to an address and all subscribed people then see this. Very much like the old style mailing lists but brought up to date for smart (ish) phones. Twitter seemed an obvious candidate for distributing a single message to all subscribers (watchers) but accepting and filtering an incoming Tweet and automatically Retweeting seems more of an issue. A mailing list might be an option (proven technology) but I am not sure that the proposed user base has anything more sophisticated than SMS in common. Any suggestions most welcome.
