I am assuming the poster is UK based.

Goats are relatively common.

So are camel toes. Downright common actually,

But a whole camel is a 'rara avis'.

the likely candidate for intermittent vibration is the fan. I'm sure someone else knows more about these boilers than I.

Leaving the contents of your lady friends knickers aside, the OPs
boiler apparently has a "desert button".

If it is like a rattle, no. If it is a non-50-Hz hum, test
whether it ceases when mechanical damping is provided, by
touching one or more of the likely parts. If so, find and
fit some other vibration-absorbing material.

I had good results (long ago) by slipping a piece of split
foam tube (intended for thermal insulation) on a vibrating
pipe. Possible alternatives ; bath sponge, old clothes,
carpet, ...

There was a common problem with lots of Keston boilers
where the thing would generate a vibration like a 32'
organ pipe - it was an instability in the gas burning.
The fault was incorrect mixture, and is fixed by setting
up the mixture using a flue gas analyser.
