Has anyone had found a supplier of the door seal on the 2007 Avondale
380/2 Dart caravan?

The door is unusual as the inside edge has a curve which pushes into the
seal as the door closes. This is unlike most doors that have a flat
surface that pushes onto the seal.

I've found that the Lunar Zenith 5 GTS caravan of the same year has an
identical door.

The dealers and manufacturers aren't helpful and Avondale went out of
business so I intend to Do It Myself!

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Find somewhere that deals in scrap caravans or stocks used caravan parts,
there's plenty of them around.

Find somewhere that deals in scrap caravans or stocks used caravan parts,
there's plenty of them around.

There is a particularly good caravan dismantler in Wales, they are very
helpful and knowledgeable. Not the cheapest, but they ensure you get
the correct parts and in useable condition.

I have also bought seals for a caravan roof window, from a seal
specialist on Ebay. They were not an exact match, but worked as well.
They sent me free samples to choose what would work best. They were 1/4
of the manufactures replacement cost for the seal. I wasn't keen to buy
OEM, because they had suffered UV deterioration anyway.
