Raised Toilet
Andy wrote in message ... Hi My parents are considering a new bathroom and my mother would benefit if the toilet were to be higher. Some of the specialist firms (Dolphin) offer a spacer that matches the footprint and design of the bowl that raises the toilet something like 50 or 100mm. Is anyone aware of a toilet manufacturer that offers these as an accessory to their toilets or a firm that supplies spacers suitable for toilets in general? ( I've seen some of the modern wall fixing toilets that would be suitable however they are constrained by a under-floor pottery outlet pipe in a concrete floor. ) TIA - Andy Andy, There is a fitting that takes the place of the toilet seat and raises things about the same amount - this has the benefit that others can used the toilet without being incommoded (sorry!) by lifting it off. Don't know a supplier but my Mother has one in her semi sheltered accomodation so I know that they exist ! Andrew Mawson |
