Or any planet.

You can on any planet that has a higher atmospheric pressure than
earth.
Think pressure cooker.

I don't actually believe you wrote that.

What about "at normal atmospheric pressure" did you not understand?

The implication is that it's 'normal atmospheric pressure' *for that
planet*?

Or indeed, camping out next to the Dead Sea.

Yes indeed but last time I looked the Dead Sea was on this planet, but
good point. I was thinking more of Venus where the pressure at the
surface is 92 times that of Earth but given that the temp at surface is
470 C getting the kettle there unmelted might be an issue.

Salt is certainly an obvious way to boil water at over 100C. Superheating is another.

It's the way I read the sentence, I was applying OUR atmosphere to another planet. Illogical really.

Ah right, I misread the earlier post and assumes bath to refer to a tub

sauna room?

Well, a Turkish bath is the same as a sauna, but with 30% humidity instead of 0%.

A sauna may be a place to get clean, but it isn't a bath.

No a bath is a physical object no one said anything about having a bathe.

Perhaps you got confused with the word bathing which is being in a bath immeressed in a fliud, usually. But I've seen people in baths sitting in baked beans. I;ve also heard people take sand baths.
I've seen people in baths doing the red bull challenge.

You need to understand teh english language is quite flexible and one word can me many things but it should be taken as only meaning ONE thing and one thing only.

The thread is about bath temperature, that is clearly only applicable when it's filled with water.

Why baths can be filled with anything. The first heated baths basically had a fire under them and a bath like that is far hotter where yuo;re arse in likely to be than one filled with water.
