And I think 'most (non religious) people' CGAF what any/everyone else is, does, needs or likes as long as they are what most consider a good citizen / person? That said, *I* [1] really wish there was a MIB style world-wide neuralyzer that when activated made *everyone* forget about all 'religion and just see how many people would *then* think following one was so important or even a good idea? Hopefully those more 'caring' would carry on doing good things for others, simply because it's a good thing to do? On that ... maybe it (religion) is just a way of giving bored people something to do / think about, instead of wasting time thinking what angle grinder to buy or what glue to use. ;-) Cheers, T i m [1] That's me because of all the cr*p / bad stuff / nonsense done in and around 'relegion'. It's like there are two worlds going on out there ... the atheists who are (in general) just getting on living their lives as they see fit (guided by what their society deems acceptable / desirable) and the 'religious' worldS that do *some* 'normal' stuff but then spend (waste from my POV) a load of time doing stuff than in many instances causes more trouble than it (seems) worth. It's like Windows V 'other' OS users. (Most) Windows users just get on with doing what they want and in most cases with what they are given and with NO interest to that fact that it is Windows, versus the 'others' who make an actual choice to run 'something else' but fight between themselves (and others) about their choice and how 'right' is is? ;-( p.s. My last word on the matter. ;-) Cite as requested. |
