Well said Tim! :-)

Not to mention a similar situation here, where the attraction is
Balmoral. Doubtless the same at Windsor and Sandringham.

The atrocities committed by the Norman invaders and their descendant spawn
far exceed anything done by the Nazis, and set back the well-being of the
people of
Brit by several centuries.

Had the Nazis been successful in over-running this country, would those
silly
and ridiculous folk who kowtow to the monarchy with simpering adulation
now be equally exuberant in their arse-licking for Hitler's great
grandchild?

Yup and it's a fact that our Royal family generate far more money for

62p per person per year to fund our Royal family. A bargain.

Is it 62p? Have you seen the amount security that accompanies a Royal
when they turn up anywhere?

The same number of tourists would visit if we didn't have a Royal
Family. Chinese tourists appear to be bussed out on mass to out-of-town
retail outlets on trading estates.

And all the other paid grovellers and fawners.

That is unlikely, particularly in the years where there is a major royal
event.

Nothing compared with what happens with a major royal event year.

Sooner Liz carks it the better for tourism IMO.

Oh that's not fair. Look Charles is bear of very little brain, but he's
finally found someone who actually likes him for what he is. A kindly
well meaning old fool. Leave em be.

Nigel would make a decent enough king.

62p wasted.

Income to the exchequer from royal estates is around £260M/year.
15% of this is paid back to the royal family to fund their official
duties, including upkeep of the buildings/estates. (This replaced the
civil list payments and payments from various government departments
for things like royal travel which were abolished a few years ago.)

Policing, security, and other costs for royals are around £300M/year.

A normal year brings in around £500M of foreign tourist revenue
for royal events. In a year with a royal wedding, jubilee, birth, etc,
this figure exceeds £1B.

So, they are always significantly profitable for the UK, and in special
years, they are extremely profitable for the UK.

Exactly so.
And Scotty Broon ****ed up the economy.
And Blair/Broon between them borrowed shed loads of cash to buy votes from
arseholes.
The same pair ****ed up the NHS with PFI schemes and changing GP's

And let arsholes from third world/ex-commie coutries flood the UK because
they might vote socialist.
And caused massive divisions in the UK with "devolution".

Yet there are brain dead clowns here want to vote for them?????

No one wanted? Conservative MPs, unlike their Labour opposites,
voted overwhelmingly in favour of the Iraq war and no doubt the
Daily Mail and friends were all behind them. If they'd followed the
LibDem opposition to it, the war - or UK involvement in it -
probably wouldn't have happened.

Someone else who's never been to Versailles. It's rammed with tourists, and
the French executed their royals hundreds of years ago, which is the best
thing that could happen to them.

In France, Nicolas Sarkozy set an annual budget for his establishment at
the Elysée of 110 million euros (£90 million). Last year, the French head
of state's expenses were audited for the first time since the reign of
Louis XVI; it revealed a flower bill of 275,809 euros and 3,000 euros

bill on entertaining guests

Mr Sarkozy’s total expenditure in 2011 was about £95million – including £200,000
on flowers. His fleet of 121 cars cost £275,000 a year to fuel, he has an
expensive taste in clothes and wears a Rolex.

And the equivalent UK Government department spending on similar is?

Flowers approx £200,000 per year
Cars £3.8 million
etc.

That's probably why the French* spend so much money coming
here to see our royals. They might not bother if they still
had their own.

*Americans and French being the biggest spending foreign
tourists here.

Oh, more tax waste then?

Yes.

No - that tax waste was when Tony B Liar, elected no less, wasted ****
knows how much on 2 wars noone wanted.

Net benefit - everyone hates even more than you hate the South.

At least Buck House has arse loads of tourists swanning around outside
paying into our economy.

You are brain dead.

There would be evenmore if the French royal family still existed,

Anyway you are wrong. The French royal family resumed after Napoleon was
defeated.

Who incidently tried to set up his own dynasty.
As revolutionaries do.
ie,it was a coup, not surge of democracy.

But it should cut down on their spare bedroom tax that everyone has to pay
on publicly owned houses. Or have I missed something?

Unsurprisingly, she could only stand two and a half hours of being in
labour.

Is she the one with the big tits, or am I thinking of another royal slut?
