Firedoor question, hinges
Its a HMO,all the doors have closers and are FD30 doors.
While replacing painted up combined seals ,noticed some hinges are just steel butt hinges, and some are grade7 hinges.Even though weight wise thats ok, are they not all meant to be grade11 because of the closers. A more recent replacement door is hung on grade11 ballbearing hinges. Trip to screwfix looks in order, if you want to post item number feel free. many thanks |
