Have a frequency analysis done with Audacity - it's an audio editing
package.

The graphic of this is a 'mountain range' over the actual graph. To save
the actual graphic you have to use screen capture, so it ends up as a GIF,
etc.

What I'd like to do is generate an outline so that can be superimposed
over a second GIF, to easily see the differences.
