More Good News!
Deserts are greening as a consequence of increased atmospheric CO2, climate is getting back to being what we used to experience during the climactic optimum and presumably people displaced by desertification of Africa can re-occupy their homelands. Does news get better than this? http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/07...s_the_deserts/ Presumably Harold "**** me I'm thick" Halfwit will have to find something else to moan about now. -- Burn Hollywood burn, burn down to the ground |

"The Register?"...............Right? About on a par with the DM. And Australian goverment scientists. The world's biggest coal exporter. Could be a link there. There's a more sensible discussion on the topic here. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/8150415.stm |

When the goat die of starvation vegetation slowly returns. |

On examination these were found not to be bushes but the crowns of trees. He made grazing forbidden in one area, pruned the "bushes to one stalk. Lo and behold he ended up with a wood, which has allowed crops to be planted in the previous barren areas. It seems the trees had been covered with sand over time but their roots went down to water, so they kept growing. |
