Default Tools shed and condensation

I have a few tools in the wooden shed, this is new for me as last house
had a double heated garage. Should I wrap the tools in polythene for
over winter or leave as is to stop surface rust forming.
I know the answer is to bring indoors and I would if I didnt have a
wife, so thats not an option.
