Hi, I have a marble fire surround and have had some work done recently on the chimney flue. The plumber stuck gaffer tape on the marble to hold some polyethene on, although he removed the tape when finished there is still glue residue on the marble. Whats best to remove this please? Thanks Alec any organic solvent ;like meths (vodka?), nail varnish remover, cellulose thinners or isopropyl alcohol Even petrol would probably work. -- Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc-ra-cy) €“ a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. |
