Default OT Times newspaper Nexus 7 offer

Anybody tried to sign up for the Times (newspaper) digital deal with a
Nexus 7 32GB thrown in for an extra £50..

"The newspaper is offering a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 for only £50
if you buy 18 months worth of a £4-per-week subscription."

see:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/12...es_nexus_deal/

or
http://tinyurl.com/d7mlfd2

Is it worth it?

The N7 is a nice tablet, but it's only worth it if you want to spend
£163 on The Times over the next 18 months.

Well we usually buy the Sunday Times, and that would work out at £180
over 18 months...so if that amount is thrown into the calculation it
starts to look more attractive.

I will sleep on it.

£362 all up cost but would you be buying the Times anyway? What is the
normal electronic subs rate?

There's a £299 upfront offer as well. But depends how you're likely to read
it (eg bit tricky to share reading - can't hand around the supplements).

Elsewhere, you can get the 32GB model for about 180ish after various
cashbacks etc...
