sourcing coil springs for ancient caravan
Any ideas where to get coil springs approx 105mm o/d, ~14mm thick, about
5 turns and probably about 150mm long under static load? They're for a 1978 vintage Abbey Cambridge caravan. -- John Stumbles An atheist is a person with no invisible means of support |

To people who know too much, it is a sad fact that they know how little is really possible - and how hard it is to achieve it. |

Sounds the sort of springs that my old Vauxhall Astra estate (C plate about 1985??)had on the back. A good look round an old fashioned breakers yard plus careful application of an angle grinder should get something of the right length. Bob |
