And even someone as stupid as you should have noticed
that plenty of places that did have adequate banking
regulation didn’t need to bail out ANY of their retail banks.

Not every major EU economy had to bail out their retail banks either.

Not every major EU economy is involved international
financial services to the same extent as the UK.

Northern Rock wasn’t involved in INTERNATIONAL
financial services enough to matter.
