Default Lengthening roller blinds

It's definitely DIY, though maybe there's a more appropriate NG.

Anyway, I have some marked-down blinds which need to be lengthened by
about 24", and a spare blind from which material can be taken.

Has anyone done this? What's the best way to join the blind material
together? Getting someone with a heavy-duty sewing machine to do the
work? Or using that 'So Simple' flexible (latex?) glue? Staples?

Is there a flexible variety of this? Not wood glue?
