Hello folks,

A question for the panelists; a two up, two down cottage is being
renovated with a new heating system [1] :

1) 2 zone UFH on the ground floor controlled via 2 room 'stats.
2) Radiators in each of the two bedrooms with stats on them.
3) Staircase rises from living area, no doors at the foot.

Q: Is there any point in fitting a room stat for the radiator circuit,
and

Yes but I would fit two and zone both bedrooms.
You can get nice timer+stats these days.

if so, where ???

It would have to be in the coldest room.. get a wireless one and move it
about.
