If your dimmer has soft start, the fuse can be a good bit lower rated, which all helps. I was thinking about adding an in-line fuse behind each lamp holder (very fiddly to replace), or one in the back of the light switch (easier). Ideally of course I'd add a fuse to one slot in the MK Grid panel that the dimmer sits in - but all slots are currently in use. Any suggestions? Cheers, David. You forgot to mention whether theyre mains or 12v halogens. The 2 are quite different animals, and the resulting advice also different. |
