Little wires used for sign and lamp hanging?
Hi,
You know those little wires that travel agents and banks use to hand window display boards - also sometimes used for hanging fancy commercial style lighting? Do they have a name? I'm after some for my DIY lamp diffuser (large bit of while plastic sheet cut into a modern-art funky "blob". needs to hang a few inches off the ceiling and paralell to it... I'm more interested in the system name as it's the little chrome fittings I'm really after... I'm specifically fater some wire clamps - or - small chain hooks (I might swap fine chain for wire) that can screw into teh ceiling, and ones that bolt through sheet material - they have to look nice all round boths sides (excelt the ceiling, they just have to look nice on one side), no bare bolts! Googled it to buggery but without the name, it's proving difficult... Ta Tim -- Tim Watts |
