Up here in Lancashire, every emergency ambulance has the standard blue flashing lights about it, but about the middle left hand side of the rear door is a steady rectangular light. Does it mean anything? i.e. patient on board. Dave |

Does it mean anything? i.e. patient on board. It's on the same circuit as the blues, and shows that the vehicle is on a call if (when) it goes past a safety camera and gets its picture taken. The new flashing blue lights don't always show up as being lit on camera. Common in a lot of areas. You'll see them on fire engines, too. -- Tciao for Now! John. |
