Default Ideal Response 100 Combi problem

Hi - can anyone help with a Response 100 problem please.....?
Boiler is 4 years old & was installed professionally, but has only
worked for 3 years on & off.
It keeps cutting and keeps flooding.
Various plumbers have attempted fixes, eg to stop water condesation,
flue needing adjusting to stop rain water flowing back in & flooding
fan, new fan controller installed, replace pressure switch etc. etc.
Ideal suggest a new heat exchanger is required at 300gbp.
Ideal have done water tests & suggest radiotors need flushing - but
this was done at time of fitting.

Is an Ideal 100 response boiler reliable ? Has anyone else had
problems ?
I understand from a local engineer, Ideal have stopped manufacturing
the 100 'cos it was so cr*p.

Any thoughts / suggesstions all appreciated.

Thanks
Pete
