Does anyone know if there is a regulation that states the minimum distance
from a socket to the kitchen sink?

There is a recommendation (not strictly a reg) that they should be 30cm from
the edge of the sink.

That's what I understood. Is this from the sinks edge or the taps? I
assume fused spurs (isolation switches) are OK to be within 30cm.
