Polishing watch glass...
Have a just gotten a rather nice Casio Waveceptor watch, but it appears that
the previous owner was careless and the face of the watch (and stainless steel band) is a bit scratched. Tapping it, feels quite hard, so I'm guessing glass, but probably mineral glass and not sapphire, as thats quite scratch resistant. Anyone got any idea on whether this can be polished with a Dremel? Read some web forums that say that watch glasses often have a special antireflective coating - and I'm guessing this would be removed. |
