hob
hello i currently own a hotpoint hob model no 63570 ,
and the oven model no 61320. and currently i am looking into renewing the oven but i wish to keep the hob and i was wondering if i was limited to which oven i buy because the hob connections ie the plugs or are they standard on all hobs |

Manual above seems to suggest that there is a separate control panel that can be used to control the hob rather than the oven one. If you change out of the hotpoint "system" then it's highly likely that you will need to try and source one of these. Thing to do would be to look at the connector between the two, then trot off down to the local electrical retailer (not Curry's - they prolly won't have a clue) and look at similar connector on (eg) a zannussi built-under combination. If they're the same then you have a good chance that there is actually some kind of standard and they might be interchangeable.
