With joists at 50cm centres, and planks of length 80 or 90 cms, it suggests that not all end to end plank joints are directly over a joist. Is this the case? If so, it *will* feel springy - and the planks may break if heavy loads are put on the unsupported bits. -- . The point I was making in relation to NT's point wasn't a 'point' as such.
