That's not the point! With joists at 50cm centres, and planks of length
80
or 90 cms, it suggests that not all end to end plank joints are directly
over a joist. Is this the case? If so, it *will* feel springy - and the
planks may break if heavy loads are put on the unsupported bits.

The point I was making in relation to NT's point wasn't a 'point' as such.
I was merely responding to a question which seemed to wilfully
misinterpret
my description...no harm done...I think he's had a beer or 2.

On your point....The 18mm oak boards are t&g so I reckon I'd have to push
a
fully loaded
wheelbarrow across the floor.
