wibbled on Wednesday 21 October 2009 13:34 Hi all Still contemplating threshold arrangements between engineered wood and carpet! Apparently it is possible to buy or make a tapered bit of wood to give a smooth transition between higher wood level and carpet surface. My question is: if you use one of these, how is the carpet secured to butt up to it IYSWIM? (Wood floor and carpet laid onto concrete in this case) TIA Phil http://www.1926woodflooring.co.uk/ac...fo_703010.html That'll do the job... There are other finishes available to suit your floor. It's what I used, to butt upto a wood threshold whilst allowing an expansion joint for the wood floor. Cheers Tim -- Tim Watts This space intentionally left blank... |
