Default Permanently sticking "self-adhesive" floor tiles

Hi,

I have put down some cheap vinyl floor tiles on a cement floor
surface. It's a temporary job - honest ! However, a few (thankfully
few) tiles are lifting at the edges. What is the best adhesive to
really stick them down?

I'm thinking:

"No nails" type adhesive
Bathroon/kitchen mastic
Contact / impact adhesive (can't remember if this has an "official"
name) - the type used to stick "non-self-adhesive" vinyl floor tiles

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Clive

I tried everything bar conctact adhesive, and all failed except one.
What worked was bitumen. Clean the adhesive off the tiles round the
edges using loo roll and paraffin. Apply roofing bitumen adhesive and
put weights on the tiles, leaving till set, which takes a couple of
days iirc.

Don't forget the clothes' pegs .......... for your nose!
If it's anything like the bitumen paint, that stuff stinks - particularly
indoors where smell seems to concentrate.

So long as the cement floor is solid my first choice would be contact
adhesive

Contact adhesive will work but will be a PITA when this "temporary"
floor needs to be lifted. It will stick to the concrete and be a
right begger to get off, depending on what the permenant floor will
be this may or may not be a problem of course.

Well the thread subject is "Permanently sticking", and in this
particular case it's just a "few" "lifting at the edges".
