A while ago - probably a couple of years - I bought one of the Performance
Power bench drills that were on special at B&Q. It's only this week that, with a job to do that needs a modest amount of precision, I've finally erected and sited it. It will be fine for what I want (the current project will justify the cost on its own) and I'll get by for immediate purposes with general purpose clamps to position and hold the itemas I'll be working on, but I've realised that the tool will be all the better for a jig arrangement of some kind to fit on the worktable to facilitate workpiece positioning. A cursory spin through Toolstation and Screwfix reveals nothing that will fill the bill. What should I be looking for, and where should I be looking? I want one or more jigs that will provide a reasonable capability, without being specialised. Any/all suggestions will be most welcome. :-) |
