While I've got my (wooden) front door off to strip and repaint it, I
wondered about fitting some rebated nylon pile draught excluder strips
all around the edge.

I've seen them fitted in door frames, but not in the door itself.
Obviously routing out a rebate in the edge of the door is going to be
easier than trying to cut one into an existing frame.

I've found this online:

and wonder if it's suitable. Even though it's self adhesive I'd
probably glue the carrier in with gripfix or somesuch.

Has anyone done this, and will it work.

Is such a thing likely to be available in the sheds or similar places
or will I have to go to a specialist supplier (like the one above).
