Default Part P Certification required

Hi

I have had some electrical work done for a conversion. The electrician
is fully qualified and has completed the job but has now gone
'missing' without issuing the Part P certificate required for building
regs.

What are my options to get this closed off without having to chase
round for the original electrian?

If the scope of his work isn't complete until he has satisfied Part P, then
don't pay him till he has!
