Default Fitting new drain hose to Bosch dishwasher

Discovered a leak from the dishwasher today - it's about 8 years old
(SRS4002GB/01) [the dishwasher, not the leak!].

The drain hose has multiple splits - some quite near the entry to the
machine - so time for a new hose. I have ordered one from Bosch and
patched up the hose for now.

My question is about fitting the new one - when it arrives; seems better
to ask now than when the thing is in bits again!

I took off the left side panel, since that side is where the hose enters
the machine at the back. It goes under a loose-ish plastic guide over
the entry hole, and I can't see how that unclips. It may not matter,
since it looks as if I can just thread the hose through.

The hose then goes to a plastic moulding on the left hand side, which
contains multiple pipe-like mouldings, and it appears to push onto (or
into) that moulding; there is also a rubber sleeve.

My question is: has anyone done this on a Bosch, and how did the pipe
fit? What holds it on/in? It has some sort of plastic fitting at the end
(I think) but I don't want to disturb it until the new one
arrives...then I want to just fix it!

Thanks in advance for any advice...

I can't help as much as I would like as it was a while ago but I had a Bosch
dishwasher replaced on insurance with a Siemens model. this was basically
the same apart from some cosmetic differences but all the innards looked
identical.
The fitter damaged the drain hose on the new one whilst fitting and then did
a runner leaving me with a wet floor so I took off the side panels of old &
new machines and realised that I could swap the hoses as they were the same.
I don't remember exactly how it fitted but I am sure that it was just a
pushfit with an O ring and a slight collar on the hose that stopped it
popping out under pressure. It took about 10 minutes if I remember
correctly.

Good luck,

Franko.

Thanks, Bob; that's useful (and reassuring!).
