Over to you to explain. It is "ukulele", by the way... It's also "ukelele", by the way. At least it doesn't have a silent "l" or "z" in it. It's one of the Hawaiian words..innit? Gosh has any body got a copy of: "I wanna go back to my little grass shack in Kealalakua, Hawaii" ...in their 78 collection? |

Apparently, and Hawaiian only has about 12 letters in its alphabet. The instrument itself, though, is originally Portuguese. |
